What is your deepest desire? What is that thing you hope for, and dream about, but just can't seem to attain? Think about that for a moment. Would God say to you, that dream you've dreamed that seems to be out of your reach is all about ME?
How can you be certain that your dream is a God dream? A God dream brings glory and honor to God, helps you fulfill your purpose, and will bless others. God is the only One you'll ever meet whose plan is all about Him, but really feels as though it's all about you.
You've been pregnant with the dream and - the wait - the weight, the pause, the heaviness of something that feels overdue. There's no denying, your discomfort has been real. As you've waited, you've experienced deep pain. Pain so deep, you incorrectly presumed a miscarriage of the dream was imminent. Do not allow your discomfort to become confused with death, the death of a dream.
Return to the One Who planted the seed, the dream. Repent of any unconfessed sin. Read the manual (Bible) in preparation for your delivery. Respond by obeying what you've read. Remember God's timing differs from yours. Rely upon God! He who started this good work in you will be faithful to complete it. (Philippians 1:6 Hebrews 12:2).
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3 NKJV http://bible.us/114/hab.2.3.nkjv “For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.” (Isaiah 64:4 NKJV http://bible.com/114/isa.64.4.nkjv)
